In 24 hours the gun will have just gone for the start of the 2012 Ironman Australia.
Everything is looking good at the moment, the weather forecast is good, my bike is sat beside me in the bedroom all ready to go, and my training has gone well. I think I am as prepared as I could be.
Today is all about last minute preparation. A few minutes run through of swimming, biking and running. Packing my transition bags and racking the bike.
Sarah, the kids, and the parents arrive the afternoon so I’ll show them around a little but make sure I do plenty of relaxing.
Feeling nervous but ready to go!

We are flying via Dubai with 1 night stopover on the way and 4 on the way back.

We leave Sydney on 29th June, arriving in the evening the following day. And then leave from Manchester on the 23rd July.
